Michael Furner I listened to The Stevens a bunch while driving 9 hours each way to move my shit from Bathurst to Melbourne. Perfect driving music. Good to hear new stuff from these guys.

about

first single from forthcoming second album "Good" by The Stevens.

Chancer is a super-catchy, fuzzy pop gem, about which guitarist/singer Travis MacDonald says - "I thought it'd be funny to write an anthemic sounding rock song about wanting to be unknown. I wrote it a few years ago, it was going to be on the last record, but it didn't sound right. There weren't enough guitars or crash cymbals. If you wanna be forgotten, a lot of guitars and crash cymbals are a great way to communicate this. Its also about heartache."

"Good" is released on vinyl CD and digital by Chapter on 14 July 2017.
